Practice area: enterprise applications for SAP. Members cooperate on such critical issues as SAP life cycle planning, vendor management strategies for optimizing performance and ongoing SAP performance tuning.
Information Security
Practice area: information security management. Members work together on critical issues such as designing an effective information security organization, ensuring proper governance, compliance practices and enforcement policies are in place and guaranteeing that security plans keep the enterprise agile, flexible and secure.
Infrastructure
Practice area: infrastructure management. Council members collaborate on pressing issues including demonstrating the value of IT infrastructure investments, dealing with increasing demand to deliver IT services that provide predictable & cost-effective performance and other challenges that infrastructure executives face.
IT Sourcing Management
Practice area: IT sourcing management. Members exchange issues critical to their success: performance assessment and relationship management in a multi-sourced environment, proper interpretation and enforcement of outsourcing contract terms and conditions. Council members also explore fine tuning vendor management and retained services, management of service providers to balance the contradictory goals of quality, speed and cost of service delivery.
